Ibn Battuta Mall is situated on the outskirts of Dubai, in the same area between Dubai Marina and Jebel Ali. In recent years this area, has rapidly evolved and grown.

The centre was named after the famous Moroccan traveller Abu Abdallah Ibn Battuta, who in the early 14th century, travelled throughout the known world. It took him a full 28 years before he returned to Morocco. Multiple structural and cultural styles from all corners of the globe were the inspiration for creating this beautiful shopping centre.

It is divided into 6 sections according to the regions in which Ibn Battuta travelled - China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia and Andalusia. On display are exhibits of ancient technological inventions.

Dive into the world of shopping at 275 stores, regain your energy in more than 50 restaurants and cafes, or go to the cinema with 21 screens and the only IMAX theatre in the entire Emirates.
