The exhibition area of the ​​Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre is part of the world-famous World Trade Centre DWTC (Dubai World Trade Centre). Its construction began in the late 1970´s, when the first buildings began to rise on the famous Sheikh Zayed Road.

The Sheikh Rashid Tower is a defining symbol of the centre and a symbol of international trade.

The actual exhibition centre has eight exhibition halls and in 2009 they added four other halls - the Sheikh Saeed Halls. This increased the total exhibition area to more than 111 thousand square metres.

100 exhibitions of world-class diverse fields are held here per year, the annual number of visitors exceeds 1 million. The Exhibition Centre hosts a number of important conferences.

An icon adjacent to DWTC is called twins - Emirates Tower buildings, which have a triangular footprint. The higher building reaches a height of 355 metres.
