Good value for money
Big conference capacity

From outside the Avanti Hotel looks like an “ugly duckling”, but luckily the interior design of the hotel is completely different. You definitely shouldn’ t be discouraged by the functionalist style of the building. The services and amenities meet all the standards of a four-star hotel, while the prices are very reasonable.

The congressional capacities, new private spa, bowling bar, and last but not least, the hotel’s pastry shop and bakery, which supplies the restaurant with a daily supply of fresh pastry and cakes for breakfast, all these are among the enticements that the Avanti Hotel can offer.

The hotel is mainly focused on congressional tourism due to its huge congress capacities, in addition to team-sport tourism, due to great sport halls and facilities in surroundings of the hotel.

Unless you require excessive luxury and modern design equipment, the Avanti Hotel might just meet your expectations. The hotel is nicely scented and the staff are helpful.

Hotel rooms and amenities were renovated three years ago, however, with the exception of the exterior. The whole concept of the hotel lies in the congress capacities and simple accommodation.

In the hotel there are number of conference halls and meeting rooms (in total 8 with the capacity of 400 persons). The halls have a good layout, technical equipment and security. It is possible to hold conferences and meetings there, as well as balls and celebrations.

Every room has a balcony, but it is quite narrow, which makes it more suitable for smokers, rather than for outdoor seating. If we leave out the rather kitschy pictures, the room looks clean and simple. Even the smaller bathrooms are newly equipped with some cheaper devices, small blue and white tiles and a shower. If you wish to have a bath, these can be found in suites, VIP and presidential suites.

The Presidential Suite is a combination of a standard room with a bathroom and a deluxe apartment with a private bathroom and a designer bath, located directly in the room. The whole room is equipped with tastefully designed furniture. You will surely appreciate the night view from the lounge, which has a whole wall glazed, so that at night the ambient lights and neon lights softly glow through the translucent curtains.

The restaurant makes a pleasant and clean impression. Meals are rather classic, so don’t expect any gourmet experience here. Fairly low prices correspond to this concept as well.

I would definitely like to praise the dessert, which was delicious. Cakes are made ‚Äč‚Äčin the private confectionery of the Avanti Hotel. The hotel guests even get a 15% discount on all gastronomic services. The biggest complaint to make is probably regarding the plates, which were greasy. The kitchen itself is very spacious, modern and sparkling clean.

Guests can have a lunch or dinner at the nice Avanti Hotel restaurant, which is open from 11am to 11pm. Prices there are relatively low. Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am in the separate Arkáda restaurant, this is included in the price.

The hotel is happy to arrange any catering or banquet for you.

The hotel provides an opportunity to sit in the Avanti Hotel restaurant and have a meal at an affordable price. If you prefer to go for a drink, you can try the hotel Bowling bar. It is open from 2pm to 2am and the service is very friendly and helpful. The area of the bar is backlit by LEDs and the bartender will be happy to change the colour of the lights according to your mood. While having a drink, you can, of course, play a few games of ten-pin bowling on the two lanes provided. The prices range from 140 to 170 CZK (6 - 7 EUR) per hour. The track is designed more for beginners and playing for fun, as it is about a metre shorter than the standard length.

If you prefer a calmer way of relaxation, you can go for a massage at a very affordable price (390 CZK/16 EUR per hour). However, it is necessary to make an appointment at least 2 hours in advance, since the masseur is an external employee.

After the massage it is perfect to enjoy a private spa with an eucalyptus steam sauna, Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, solar powered tanning beds and heated seating for relaxation. There is also a fountain with drinking water. For hotel guests, the price for sauna is 150 CZK/6 EUR per hour.

Don’t expect any glamorous design elements in the rooms. I was rather amazed by the sight of the kitschy images that haunt you both in the rooms and hallways of the hotel and they are totally thematically unrelated. Would you like to have a room with a theme such as puppies and kittens, or do you rather prefer the Grand Canyon and or a red formula? Ask at the reception, you may be assigned a room according to your taste! Not that this would spoil my stay at the hotel, it rather amused me.

The Presidential Suite is very spacious. You might think it's an advantage, but the whole area gives a somewhat empty and unfurnished impression. The bedroom is furnished in a design style. It's a bit of a loss as well, since there is no closet in the room (instead, there is a huge mirror across half of the wall and the closest wardrobe is in the entrance hall of the apartment). The Roca designer washbasin is so huge that during your morning cosmetic treatments you can hardly see yourself at close quarters.
