The Aria Hotel is located in one of the most prestigious sites of the capital, Mala Strana. Its location makes it ideal for spending a memorable vacation, as most of Prague´s world’s famous monuments are literally at your fingertips. Gracefully twist through the picturesque streets and  Prague Castle, Charles Bridge are standing right in front of you and within minutes you can be in the Old Town Square.

You are in the 4th most luxurious hotel in the world for 2011, so enjoy your stay as much as you can. The valuation of the hotel is rightful, because its excellent location, impeccable professional service and excellent cuisine makes it a magnificent place to be, especially with the unique - private entrance to the Vrtbovska Baroque garden.

You may worry whether the location of the hotel in the heart of the action entails all the hustle and bustle from outside, but there is no need for such worries, because the opposite is true. Once the front door of the hotel is closed, you find yourself in another world. You will feel a wonderful atmosphere all over the hotel and it´s enhanced by the smiling faces of the hotel staff, nice music throughout the whole complex and soothing swishing of the water fountain.

The main theme here is music and the hotel is tailored to this concept. Don´t be surprised when they ask you at reception, in which musical floor you want to spend your time. You can choose from several genres and it's up to you which is the closest to your heart. Whether contemporary music, classical, opera or jazz? You are free to choose and let the music wash away the worries of everyday life.

Enjoy your stay fully and use all of the services offered by the hotel for your greatest possible comfort and light heartedness. Great service is provided to hotel guests, starting with luggage service, parking in the underground garage for your  four-wheeled  “sweetheart“, a tour of the hotel with a tour-guide and concludes with a welcome drink of your choice.

The hotel has 52 rooms and you can also find Deluxe rooms decorated in warm tones and natural colours and Junior suite offering more space and reflecting the style of your chosen genre of music, or you can choose luxury suite dedicated to the most significant figures in the music world, such as Smetana, Dvorak, Beethoven and Mozart. The design and overall impression of rooms are dedicated to the individual musical styles. For example, the room devoted to the Swedish pop group ABBA is in tune with bright vibrant colours with a party theme. In contrast, the apartment of the composer Dvorak is more for lovers of simple elegance without extravagance. Images with caricatures of master musicians perfectly complement the unusual hotel concept.

The room in which I spent my stay, was cozy and very elegantly furnished. The room is dedicated to the Czech composer Bohuslav MartinĹŻ. Already at the first entry, I was impressed by the wonderful softness and smoothness of the carpet and symbolic musical notes everywhere I looked. The connection between relaxing part of the room and the king bed and relaxing corner with comfortable armchairs and sofa was very pleasant. I also loved the fact that you feel like a really welcome guest and the hotel staff make the stay even more pleasant with amazing small and more sophisticated details. Whether it's the little things in the form of writing needs with post-cards of the city of Prague or books and magazines laid on the bedside table, computer with Internet connection, iPod with pre-selected music tracks or to the weather forecast for the coming day. The most powerful experience for me was that I could tune into a TV channel called ”The roof camera“ and without leaving the comfort of my bed, I found myself on the roof of the hotel and watching the breathtaking panorama of Prague.

Gastronomy of the hotel presents a truly amazing experience for your taste buds. The speciality is the evening menu made from organic ingredients with an emphasis on simplicity and flavours blending together. An essential part of the dishes offered are fresh herbs. On the plates prepared for service of each course are smiling caricatures of musical artists wishing you ”bon appétit“! These plates are not just the hotel inventory, you can also buy them and take them home as a memory of your stay at the Aria Hotel. Breakfast also honours the hotel name. Everyone can choose from this rich selection. For me, as lover of all things sweet, it was a great ending to our dinner. On the recommendation of the staff, we chose an amazingly looking dessert - ”Chocolate cake with a warm centre“. It was indeed an excellent choice, I´ve never eaten better dessert, plus it was served by the chef himself, which left us with a very nice impression!

You can enjoy the culinary skills of local chef David Šašek in 3 different locations in the Aria Hotel. The first is the hotel restaurant Coda, which is furnished in an art - deco style and presents intimate space for the tasting of the selected menu. If you prefer well-lit open spaces, the winter garden atrium with a glass roof is a great choice for you. In the summer months, when the weather is nice, definitely do not forget to visit the hotel roof terrace, where the gourmet drive is enriched with 360 ° views of the Golden City of Prague. If you have chosen the Aria Hotel as a place for dinner for two, the private Red salon is the best choice for you.

The Aria Hotel is a truly magical place in the heart of the city of Prague. It's hard to believe that it´s possible to spend such a peaceful and restful stay, right in the busy centre of this vibrant metropolis. The Aria Hotel meets all of these features very well and becomes a very attractive place for guests seeking peace and privacy. It offers two unique attractions, be sure not to miss - Roof terrace with stunning views of the city, where you can enjoy  dinner at sunset and have private access directly from the hotel to Vrtbovska Baroque garden. Just go through the narrow corridor of the hotel atrium and spread directly in front of you is a garden empire, where you will feel like you´re in a fairy tale.

Not only the exterior of the hotel but also the interior and its atmosphere leaves a strong impression on you. Sit down in comfortable armchairs in the atrium of the hotel and listen to the incredible piano art of Mario Bihary, which is accompanied by the swishing water of the nearby fountain. This harmonious combination is incredibly soothing.

The entire hotel carries a very friendly atmosphere and staff make the effort to ensure maximum satisfaction of its guests. If you're as lucky as me, the food is not only cooked but also served up by the Chef himself wishing you “bon appétit“.

The play with the details is also very nice, not only in the service itself, but also in the design of the hotel. At first impression it seems a mere trifle, but in the final stage they leave a great impression and a sincere desire to visit the hotel again as soon as possible.
